Resource-Based
Learning is the instructional strategy where students construct
meaning through interaction with a wide range of print, non-print
and human resources.
|
Resource-Based Learning:
- has a strong relationship to Inquiry Learning,
Project- Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning.
- provides opportunities for practicing the
information literacy skills and critical-thinking skills
necessary to deal with the explosion of information that
is available at our fingertips.
- is student-centred and allows them to discover
knowledge for themselves.
- promotes the teacher as a facilitator and
guide.
