Using Data to Create Charts

Students will create visually appealing charts that can be used in a number of different areas. They should understand how the data transfers from the spreadsheet to the chart, and this will allow them to adapt what they want their data to look like. They can use a variety of colours, 3-D graphics, exploding charts and histograms as well as customizing labels and titles to really bring out the flashiness of their data. We all know that data can be kind of boring. Using these tools can make the data come to life and let the audience enjoy the data that is before them.
