Flips and Rotations

Using flips and rotations in your photographs can add all kinds of interesting effects that will make your photographs look amazing. You can make mirror images appear in your pictures or make a kaleidoscope looking effect that will dazzle your viewers. Using these techniques will enhance any photo that you have in your collection. Go through these tutorials before you attempt the following activities.

Activity One: Take a picture or use one from your collection to make a digital mirror image of it on the same canvas. The first tutorial under mirror image tutorials will help you out a lot in this activity. Save your image as mirror_finished and submit to your teacher.

Activity Two: Take a picture of your friend or of one of your favourite animal buddies and create a kaleidoscope effect similar to the ones shown on the kaleidoscope tutorial site. Save your image as kaleid_finished and submit to your teacher.

Activity Three: Take a picture of your own face and create a spooky effect on it. Save your image as spook_finished and submit to your teacher.
