Most banks provide their customers with ebanking options, and there are banks that are entirely operated through the Internet, such as ING.
Here are a few things to remember about online banking:
1. Never give out your online banking password information to anyone and do not store it on your computer. Remember online banks will never ask you to give out your banking password. Also skip the "remember my password" option it should never be saved.
2. When accessing your online bank account start up a new browser session and type the address directly into the address bar.
3. Double check that you are on secure pages by looking for either the padlock symbol at the bottom right hand corner or for the "S" at the end of HTTPS in your address.
4. Never leave the computer when you are doing online banking even for a few minutes.
5. Always sign out when you are done your internet banking, especially if you are in a public place.
