COLLABORATION:  Keys to Success - Flexible Scheduling

Flexible scheduling or mixed scheduling allows the teacher-librarian more opportunities to work with teachers and classrooms. If the teacher-librarian's schedule is fixed by required elements (i.e. book exchange, prep relief, etc) then the collaborative opportunities are reduced or eliminated. Teacher-librarians need to have a timetable that can accommodate all classes and teachers in the school when necessary.
