A hotlist--an organized collection of live links to Interent websites--allows pre-screening of websites to ensure the chosen resources will stimulate students, are at an appropriate reading level, and contain relevant information to enhance the learning experience. The provision of a hotlist reduces student search time and eliminates chance encounters with unsuitable websites. Hotlists are easily updated and may be modified to fit students' abilities and interests.
