1.2 Communication in the Theatre

Communication is a very important aspect of daily life. This is especially true in the Theatre. You need something? Ask for it. You don't understand how to do something or what exactly the Director wants? Seek ye clarification! So who do you go to when you need to have a chat?

Don't be looking to run to the Director and take up their precious time. There are lines of communication at work in the Theatre as there are in most organizations. An organized system of communication helps a Theatre Company avoid confusion and mishaps, ensures a great end result and above all else keeps the Director happy.
