7.1 Make-up Materials

Now that you have completed 3 different make-up plans based on your own Face Shape Schematic, it is time to identify the materials you will need to do the actual make-up application.

Watch the presentation titled Make-up Materials (swf).

On the Character Make-up Planning Schedule, enter the materials required for your planned application. Use the internet or a make-up catalogue to estimate the costs of each item and provide a total. This helps greatly when budgeting for a production.

Finally, provide any notes you feel would be helpful for a make-up artist and the step-by-step directions for the application. Think of this document as a means of communicating between yourself and a make-up artist. It must be clear and easily understood. Remember to insert all of these new documents into your Theatre Log when you have finished.
